Established in 1954, SsangYong is Korea's oldest vehicle manufacturer. Today, SsangYong’s multi-award winning vehicles include the brands flagship Rexton, the powerful 7-seat SUV; the Korando, the family SUV built with adventure in mind; Tivoli, the small SUV that doesn’t compromise on space; and Musso, the hardworking pick-up that is unmatched in towing and weight-carrying, which also boasts the longest load area in the UK market.
Introducing the brands’ first pure-electric vehicle (pure-EV), Korando e-Motion in October this year, the company plans to expand its green vehicle range, with an additional mid-sized pure-EV in 2022, and pure-EV pick-up in 2023.
SsangYong manufacture vehicles that are not only built to last, but that are modern, stylish and packed with the latest in infotainment and safety technologies. Not only do SsangYong vehicles possess a surprisingly luxurious and spacious interior, but they are also strong and often used for the toughest jobs. The selectable low-range gear boxes and high-torque engines are perfect for off-roading and for towing. The knowledge and experience that has been gained in over 65-years of production is the reason why all vehicles in the range have an industry-leading 7-year/150,000 mileage.
There are currently 70 SsangYong dealers in the UK network covering England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales, with new locations being added to the network all the time.
"SsangYong Motors is proud to be the title sponsor of BBC Countryfile Christmas in the Park for the very first time. As a relatively unknown brand in the UK, we are delighted to be taking part in the event and be able to showcase our full range of versatile and award-winning products. We can’t wait to welcome visitors to our stand for a festive treat, and to be able to have some fun on the 4x4 course too.”
